Tree lighting 11/27/2007

If you are afraid of heights, I do not recommend going into the bucket of a fire truck for a ride! I do not necessarily like being in the air standing on a floorboard that you can see through, however tonight was a lot of fun because it was spent with many good friends. The Bristol Fire Dept took seven girls (queens as some people call us) along with the Mayor, Mr. Art Ward and Fireman Kris Lambert for a ride in their bucket on their fire truck. All of the younger girls absolutely loved it; I found myself resting my head, with eyes closed on Lindsay's shoulder. This event sure did put me in the holiday spirit. Members of the Memorial Boulevard All-Stars chorus sang holiday songs, and many residents of Bristol were in attendance. After, we went into city hall and sipped hot cocoa donated by Starbucks in Bristol. Thank you to the Bristol Fire Department and the mayor of Bristol for including us. As always, it was a lot of fun.
