Despite not being a morning person, todays event was lots and lots of fun. We had the opportunity to bring some of the toys we collected to the Giammatti Center, where so many people came to this event. Each child had the opportunity to meet with Santa Claus telling him their wish list. We also had some yummy breakfast. On top of it all, we continued with our community service and made cards for our veterans and asked all the children to participate. We were so lucky that so many boys and girls were interested in participating in making holiday cards. Altogether, we made about 80 cards that I am sending to the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C. to help let veterans knows that they are loved and appreciated this holiday season. This was a tremendously fun event, and one that I will hold dear to my heart!
