The most anticipated event of the season was a major success this afternoon. All of the girls looked so festive and cheerful while collecting donations and toys for our toy drive. I applaud each and every one of the girls, and their parents for their efforts to make this event so much fun as well as a huge success. I was amazed to see all of the wonderful donations made by the patrons of the Wal-Mart store. This event was a wonderful start to the 2007 holiday season, not to mention, an amazing experience. I can speak for each and every one of the girls when I say that collecting all the toys, and shopping for new ones made us happy because this small act of kindness will bring smiles to MANY children this holiday season. It was a long day, however a day filled with love, laughter, and most importantly the spirit of giving!
